He is survived by: his wife Maureen Nielens; and his children, Richard T. Nielens Jr., Debora A. Nielens, Wilhemina K. Nielens and David P. Nielens (Virginia). He is also survived by Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Nieces.
