With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard J. Cathy of Port Byron, New York, born in Lockport, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Richard left this world on May 3, 2024 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Cathy and Irene Jefferds Cathy; and his siblings, Leonard Andres, Donald, Thomas, Marvin Cathy, Jeanett Cathy and Joan Neal.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Dennis (Don) and Dawn Gross (Robbie); his siblings, Arthur Cathy (Cely), Gertrude Bitz (Larry) and Shirley Shipley (Don); his grandchildren, Louis, Dawn, Andrea, Brian Giovannini, Jesse Dennis (Katherine), Sophie Riskie (Tim) and Danny Dennis; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Ben, Anna, Tyler, Dominic, Annabella and Arianna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
