He is survived by: his parents, Georgia Townsend (Penird) and Reginald C. Townsend Sr.; his children, Reginald C. Townsend III, Brooke and Bianca Townsend; his grandson Sage; his sisters, Robin Townsend Gilfus (Harold), Jackie Humberstone (Ron Halstead), Annette Townsend and Renee Matteson (Jeff); and his close friend Alicia Farr. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
