He is survived by: his mother Helen Carter (Reynolds); his wife Barbara Carter (Heffernan); his children, Nicole Schuh (Thomas), Kayla Carter and Keith Carter; his siblings, Susan Carter, Robert Carter (Kim), Gary Carter (Linda) and David Carter; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Liam, Ella, Gema, Maya and Lana. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
