He was predeceased by: his father John O'Brien. He is survived by: his mother Kathleen O'Brien (O'Leary); his siblings, Kathleen O'Brien of Basking Ridge, NJ, Eileen O'Brien of Garner, NC and Jack O'Brien (Mary) of Stony Point, NY; his nieces, Courtney Burke (Kevin) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Karly Corly (Brian) of New York, NY, Tara Baer (Alex) of Rochester, NY, Shae O'Brien of Astoria, NY and Kylie Hoffman of Baltimore, MD; and his nephew Declan Hoffman of Winston-Salem, NC.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the T. J. McGowan's Funeral Home (71 Central Hwy, Garnerville, NY 10923). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gregory Barbarigo Church (29 Cinder Rd, Garnerville, NY 10923).
