He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Diehl and Ethel Estalla Brunick Diehl; his spouse Georgianna'Georgie'Munro Diehl; and his siblings, Eva Kelly, Pauline Carr, Chester Diehl, Clifford E. Diehl Sr. and Rose Bronk.
He is survived by: his children, James F. Diehl Jr. of Hollister, CA, Marcy Diehl and Stacey Dorr (Keven); his grandchildren, Brittani, Savannah Diehl, Rebekah, Kyle Dorr and Miranda Diehl; and his great grandchild Ellivia Diehl. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
