He is survived by: his wife Royalee; his children, Douglas (Eileen) of Clemmons, NC, Kathryn (Anthony Cusano) of Southbury, CT, Robert (Heather) of Waxhaw, NC and Thomas (Mindy) of Ridgefield, CT; his grandchildren, Jessica (Mike), Christine (Ryan), Kaitlin (Joe), Julie (Rad), Bobbie (Steven), Sean (Rachel), Douglas, Elizabeth (Travis) and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Michaella, Jayden, Liam, Heather and Maya; his stepmother-in-law Cynthia MacKinnon; and his nieces and nephews, Allison Dickerson (Piotrowski), John Piotrowski, David Vinson, Mark Vinson, Douglas Vinson and Patricia Vinson.
