He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fayette Franklin and Eva Franklin (Johnson); his children, Ada, Deward, Johnson, Wallace, Lois, Paul, Ruby, Donna (Rich) of New Bern and Benjamin Jr. (Laurie) of Greene; his grandchildren, Chris (Kim Mammon), Lyndsey (Bill), Derek (Tia Thorn) and Hope Daniels; and his great grandchildren, William Blake, Emma, Sophie Kate, Olivia, Harper and Paisley.
