Virginia E. Degroodt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia E. Degroodt of Pleasant Valley, New York, born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on May 25, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Jessica Germano; and her siblings, Kenneth Anson and Sandra Palmatier. She is survived by: her husband Earl L. DeGroodt; her daughters, Colleen Welch (Christopher) and Bonnie Germano; her grandchildren, Shannon DiValentino, Crystal Kasten, Michael Germano and Nicole Welch; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Ben, Vienna and Giuliana; and her sisters, Isabelle Ferris, Cele Mettice, Mickey Hannaburgh, Dawn Davies, Margaret Davies and Patricia Sherman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
