He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Philip (Carolyn) of Pine Plains, Tom (Carol) of Rhinebeck and Jennifer (Tim Wengender) of Webster, NY.; his daughter-in-law Barbara Smith Komondorea of Newburgh, NY; his grandchildren, Michael, Mathew Smith, Krystal Drumm, Amanda Smith, Colleen Chlus, Monica Smith, Andrew, Rachel and Samuel Wengender; his brother Edward Smith; and his brother-in-law Clarence Holdiman.
