She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joseph Perl; her son David Perl (Kate); her grandchildren, Jack and Erin; her daughter Laura Perl Buynak (Ray); her grandchildren, Alex and Carter; her sister Mae Calderon; her siblings-in-law, Fredrick Calderon of Holland-Patent, NY and Doreen Albright of Wallkill, NY; her nieces and nephews, Melissa Kostic and Laurie Nolan; her goddaughter Nadine Larson; her great-nephews, Julian, Emmett and Finley; her nephews, Michael and Paul Calderon; and her friend William Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to a charity of choice where her commitment to the preservation of the natural world and wildlife can be honored.
