She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignaz Lorenzi and Wilhelmine Schludi Lorenzi. She is survived by: her husband Edgar Chavanne; her sons, Pierre Chavanne (Melissa McDaniel) of California and Klaus Chavanne (Joanne Holder) of Pleasant Valley; her grandchildren, Alex and Erin Chavanne; and her brother Herbert Lorenzi of Italy.
