It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher J Charland of Pleasant Valley, New York, born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Charland and Lily Ann Charland; his sister Sue Gault; and his mother-in-law Pat Yergey. He is survived by: his children, Christopher J. Charland, Jr. (Michaela Charland) and Amber Arletta Charland (Ryan Mullins) of Pleasant Valley, NY; his wife Carolyn Charland (Yergey); his brothers, Dr. James Charland (Charlann Charland), Patrick Charland (Hazel Charland), Timothy Charland (Barbara Charland) and Matthew Charland (Jeannine Charland); and his father-in-law Rusty Yergey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
