He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Desso and Gladys Desso (Stone); and his brothers, Herbert, David St. John and Raymond Desso.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Desso; his children, William Desso, Jr., Nicole (Dale Rascoe) and Christinea (Chris Webb); his sisters, Sylvia (Richard Gushlaw), Barbara McIsaac and Deborah (Leonard Murphy); his sisters-in-law, Arlene St. John and Faye St. John; and his grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Matthew, Madison Rascoe, Arielle, Schylar and Rhiley Webb. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
