We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2021, at the age of 64, Wayne E. Carter of Plattsburgh, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellison Carter and Elizabeth Helvie (Provost). He is survived by: his wife Sue Carter of Plattsburgh; his children, Jessica Turchin (Ryan), Ryan Sapel (Kristina) and Daniel Carter (Alissa); his grandchildren, Rory, Everett Turchin, Porter and Blair Sapel; and his siblings, Sandra Curry (Rick), Chris Campbell (Greg), Kathleen LaConte-O'Neill (Tim O'Neill), Bruce Carter and Neil Carter. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans Chapter 179, Clinton County VA Office, 137 Margret St, Suite 106, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
