She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Caron and Julia Caron (Caron); her husband Herman Gainer; her daughter Pamela Linstruth; and her siblings, Alfred Caron, Mose Caron, Andrew Caron, Wilfred Caron, Gertrude Demerse, Ferna Reid Facteau and Mary Lydia Bradley.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul (Joanne Gainer), Jay (Winnie Gainer), Jon (Brenda Gainer) and David Gainer (Tammy LaFountain). She is also survived by five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
