He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Burl and Gladys Burl (Premo); his wife Ruth Anne Burl (Chan); and his siblings, Arthur Burl, Donald Burl, Robert Burl, Ernest Burl, Pearl Kowalski and Maude Daniels.
He is survived by: his siblings, Norman Burl (Barbara Caska) of Plattsburgh, Robert Shea of Peru and Shirley Sipos of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
