He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hayhurst; his children, James Hayhurst (Birgit), Raymond Hayhurst (Emily) and Heather Hayhurst (Steve); his siblings, Jean Fischer (Alan) and Michael Hayhurst (Cheryl); and his sister-in-law Mary. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made in Thomas' memory to the Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK.org) and the American Heart Association (heart.org).
