She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Wood and Janet Wood (Brownell). She is survived by: her former husband Robert Simpson; her husband Bait; her children, Robert "Bob" (Lisa Simpson), Robin Simpson (Mark Varin), Julie Simpson (Casey Burdeau) and Christopher Simpson (Elizabeth) of Rome, NY; her sister Patricia Wells of Colchester, VT.; her grandchildren, Alexsandra Simpson, T. J. Daniels, Lauren Brindisi (Tom), Cori-Ann Martineau (Chad), Ryan Simpson and Joel Simpson; and her close friends, Mike, Liz Brown, Ginger Rocheleau, Kathi Hepburn, Don and Lil Cassidy. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the North Country in memory of Sandy.
