It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Alfred Lapine of Plattsburgh, New York, born in Elizabethtown, New York, who passed away on April 9, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore LaPine and Dorothy LaPine (Cross); and his brother Harold LaPine (Nancy). He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Sherman); his children, Steven LaPine (Denise) of Plattsburgh and Debbie Borks (Jim); his grandchildren, Heather Jock (Chris), Shannon LaPine, Gary Borks (Rachael) and Casey Dinman (Sean); and his brother Ernie LaPine (Alta). He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Due to Covid and the families wishes there will be no formal calling hours or funeral service.
