He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Cornelis Brouwer and Victorina Nagtegaal-Brouwer. He is survived by: his wife Angela Esposito (Bunny); his sons, Dennis Brouwer (Liliana), Thomas, Aram DeGroot and Samuel Esposito (Kaylee); his stepchildren, Stephen Esposito (Tracey), Angela and Pamela Esposito; his grandchildren, Mathew, Jack, Evelyn, Alaia and Zoe; his great grandchild Arthur; his sister Ineke Weber (Ruud); and his brother-in-law Robert John. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to the Interfaith Food Shelf on Beekman St; Hospice of the North Country or The ARC Foundation.
