It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M Kemp-Carter of Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matias Paradis and Adeline Paradis; her former husband James Kemp Sr.; and her husband Leon Carter Sr.. She is survived by: her children, James Jr. (Dawn), Albert (Mary), Keith (Shirley), Russell, Kenny (Snow) and Danny Kemp (Denise); and her siblings, Marcel, Gerald and Gabby. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
