He was predeceased by: his parents, William Whyman and Edna Whyman (Furnia); his stepfather Robert Koschak; his brother William; and his niece Sara Pekrul.

He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Whyman, Kevin Whyman, Donna Eads, Carolyn Ianelli and Elaine Peralta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Elmore SPCA.
