With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Major Edgar C. George of Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Major Edgar is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Major Edgar's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Turnpike Wesleyan Church (2224 Military Turnpike, Plattsburgh, NY 12901). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of North Country.
