We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2020, at the age of 86, Joseph G. Wood (Plattsburgh, New York), born in Altona, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wood and Melinda Wood (Vien-Cumm); his wife Agnes LaPier; his daughter Darlene; and his siblings, Melvin Wood, Emmett Wood, Vivian Jubert, Margaret Quesnel, Gladys Lecari, Helen McDowell and Jane Quesnel.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Wood (Cheryl) of Saranac, Mark Wood (Novia-Lee) of Dannemora and Deborah Hammond of Plattsburgh; his grandchildren, Corey Fehlner, Ryan LaVarnway, Travis LaVarnway, Justin LaVarnway, Dana-Lynn Mintz, Kevin Wood, Hannah Wood and Cody Wood; and his close friend Lucinda Goddeau. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 a private funeral service for family will follow in the funeral home chapel.
