It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Carpenter (Plattsburgh, New York), who passed away on July 24, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Carpenter to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin L. Mead and Mae Mead (Angell); and her husband Earl W. Carpenter. She is survived by: her children, Michael Carpenter (Mary Jo) of Watertown, James Carpenter (Linda) of Plattsburgh, Penny Converse (Larry) of Plattsburgh, Joni-Jill Tobrocke (Fritz) of Plattsburgh and Jan Garrant (Kevin) of Savannah; her sister-in-law Suzanne Conners of North Carolina; and her close friend Louise Bezio of Morrisonville. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the North Country, Seton Booster Club or St. John's Church.
