Jane M. Defayette Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2025, at the age of 86, Jane M. Defayette of Plattsburgh, New York passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Stone and Mollie Stone; her siblings, Jean Tolosky (Stone) and Helen Echavarria (Stone); and her husband George O. Defayette.

She is survived by: her sibling Jerry Stone; and her children, Nathan, Jared, Owen, Teddy, Chloe, Jeff, Jesus and Happy. She is also survived by five grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (29 Broad St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church (20 Broad St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901).
