He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James O'Connell and Margaret O'Connell (Lord); his parent-in-law Mavourneen Yerry; his children, James O'Connell (Angie) of New Hampshire, Danny O'Connell of Plattsburgh, Beth Higgins of Syracuse, Maryanne Marks (Todd) of Rouses Point, Erin Parks (Ryan) of Plattsburgh and Kerin Walker of Plattsburgh; his daughter-in-law Wanda O'Connell; his sisters-in-law, Jeanette O'Connell, Judy Yerry and Mary Lou Gibson; his wife Mavourneen O'Connell; his son-in-law Joshua Walker; and his brother Philip O'Connell. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
