She was predeceased by: her parents, Armand Fortin and Laurence Longton; her siblings, Jeanine Fortin Decavallas, Leo and Henry Fortin; her daughter Suzanne DeFayette Carey; and her daughter-in-law Beth Howard DeFayette.
She is survived by: her brother Raymond Fortin (Lillian Fortin Dubrey); her daughter Judy DeFayette Fitzpatrick (William); and her son-in-law JD Carey. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
