He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Hicks and Kathleen Hicks; his former wife Carol Hicks; his children, Kyle Hicks, Sarah Valk (Tim), Danielle Belford (Justin) and Alyssa Hicks (Hunter); his grandchildren, Aubrey, Owen Valk, Weston and Hudson Belford; and his siblings, Leona Peterson (Russell), Linda Norton and Robert Hicks. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
