He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Sears and Dora Sears (Phaneuf); his mother-in-law Doris Delisle (Oshier); his siblings, Valeda Cote (George), Wilfred and Floyed Sears; his brothers-in-law, John Manor and Ernest Deyo; and his grandson Ryan Sears.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sears (Delisle); his children, Joanne Sheridan (Brian), Laurie Sears, Robert Sears (Michelle) and Fred Sears (Becky); his grandchildren, Landon, Jaydan Sears and Marcqui Parham (Mike); his great grandchildren, Kahlie Crew and Alivia Jones; his sisters, Marie Manor (May) and Annette Deyo; his father-in-law Kenneth Delisle; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Carpenter (Mickey), Mike Sr. (Patricia), Tommy (Missy) and Scott Delisle; and his nieces and nephews, Amy, William Gallagher, Mike Jr., Justin, Kristen, Chase, Cass, Sara Arnold (Chris), Hannah Stroehlein (Robert), Mollie Short (Tyler), Loghan Sassine (Sassine), Todd Deyo (Tammy), Kelli Mody (Miles), Wayne (Silvia), Cindy and Michelle Manor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
