He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Briggs and Edward Briggs; his former wife Kathleen; his son Michael; and his wife Carole.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffery Briggs (Nadine) of Westford, Steven Briggs (Sandra) of Arizona and Edward Briggs (Wendy) of Peru, NY.; his grandchildren, Steven Briggs Kelcey, Keagen Briggs Megan and Trent Briggs; and his brother Kenneth of Syracuse, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
