He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Racette and Isabelle Racette (DuBrey); his wife Irene Boulerice; and his siblings, Gerald, Eugene and Geraldine.

He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Racette (Patti) of Beekmantown, Cheryl Stasiewski (Allen) of Milwaukee, WI, Bonnie Lilly (Thomas) of Averill Park, NY, Scott Racette (Julie) of Port Kent, NY and Pamela Barber of Peru; his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jared, Jessica, Danny, David, Abby, Erica, Christine, James, Jaysen, Nicole and Jocelyn; his siblings, Patricia Hathaway (Mac), Betty Perry, Robert (Alice) and Ceil Johnson; his brother-in-law Dickie Boulerice (Pam); and his brother Ken Racette (Kathy). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

Donations in Donald's name may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
