He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon Johnson and Daisy Johnson (Ormrod); and his stepfather Arthur Bourey. He is survived by: his brother Dick; his spouse Debi; his children, Kristopher Johnson (Donna) of Charlotte, NC, Scott Johnson of Outer Banks, NC and Brenton Johnson of Utah; his brother Richard Johnson (Sally Terry) of Plattsburgh; and his mother-in-law Faith Legere of Saco, ME.
