He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Steven and Rosanna Lavigne (Lawless); and his brothers, Charles and Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Lavigne; his brother-in-law Arnold Smith; his children, Michael Lavigne (Amy) and Rose Marie Taylor (Michael); his granddaughters, Kristen Chapin-Lavigne (Kerry), Jillian Taylor and Michelle Lavigne (Kevin Keane); and his stepgranddaughters, Allison Trombley and Erin Trombley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Mass intentions may be offered in John's memory.
