He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Neiman and Ardella Neiman; and his wife Clara "Pee Wee" Neiman (Lareau). He is survived by: his children, Charles Neiman III, John Neiman, Loren Neiman (Laurie Baker), David (Judy Neiman), Susan (John Devins) and Kari (Todd Prinsen); his siblings, Dot of Pennsylvania, Sis of Pennsylvania and Ed of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, David James of Chesapeake, Matthew Hammond (Angel Palmer), Jessica Clark (Matthew) of Plattsburgh, Chad Neiman (Kayla), Jamie Neiman of Plattsburgh and Michelle Relation of Mooers; and his great grandchildren, Logan Webber, Kalob Webber, Caden, Cyler Clark, Brookklyn Vanvalkenburg, Onna, Chad Neiman Jr., James, Isabelle Neiman, Clara and Hazel Hammond. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
