It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll M. Ackerman (Plattsburgh, New York), born in Norwood, New York, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ackerman and Bernice Ackerman (Munn); his siblings, Everet, Harold, Kenneth, Bernard, Arlene and Vera; and his son-in-law Scott Miner.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona Ackerman of Sciota; his children, Karen Ackerman of Staatsburg, NY, Sharon Richards of Rouses Point, Cynthia Miner of Sciota, Wanda, Claude Perras of Mooers Forks and Jennifer Ackerman (Lawrence Stannard) of Sciota; and his grandchildren, Kim Gregoire, Karey, Erik Richard, Marci Hamel, Jared Miner, Laura Conner, Mathew Perras, Chris, Caitlin, Sydney Ackerman, Ashley McFarlane, Kaleigh Filion, Nykole LaDue, Shelby and Stephani Stannard. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; seven nieces and nine nephews.
Face coverings and social distancing will be required.
