She was predeceased by: her father Richard Glenn Weiss; and her siblings, Peter Weiss of Minneapolis, MN, Stephen Weiss of Portland, OR and Christine Weiss Roberts of Ithaca, NY.. She is survived by: her husband James C. Dawson of Plattsburgh, NY; and her sister Martha Weiss Kneuer of Bend, OR. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home - Plattsburgh (29 Broad St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901). A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (30 Steltzer Rd, Plattsburgh, NY 12901).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the 'Drs. James C. and Caroline W. Dawson Endowment' at The College Foundation, State University of New York, 101 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, NY, 12901.
