Trudeau of Plattsburgh, New York, born in Mooers Forks, New York, who passed away on August 11, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adrien Decosse and Ellen Decosse (Gadway); her brothers, George Decosse, Dennis DeCosse and Roma Decosse; her siblings-in-law, Hellen Decosse, Gerald Lafountain, Joseph Snide and Stanley Savage; and her son Allen LaFountain (Norman LaFountain).
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Marnes (Tom) of Morrisonville and Paula Begor (Ronald) of Morrisonville; her daughter-in-law Bonnie LaFountain of Plattsburgh; her grandchildren, Milo Marnes (Michelle Marnes) of Cohoes, Miranda Marnes (Nick Atchinson) of Clifton Park, Kyle Lafountain (Sarah Morrison) of Mooers Forks, Haily LaFountain (Joshua Morales) of Plattsburgh, Travis Lafountain (Guinevere Spurdens) of Miami and Brenden Begor of Plattsburgh; her great grandchild Layah Almodovar; and her sisters, Theresa Snide of Mooers Forks, Emma Savage of Rouses Point and Loretta Lafountain of Rouses Point. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to the family so that a bench can be installed at the Pine Harbor Assisted Living Facility Memory Care Unit in Bernie's memory.
