She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold; and her parents, George Sorby and Dora Sorby. She is survived by: her sister Trudy Tardiff; and her children, Lynn Matthews, David Mackey and Maxine Rothman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand-children.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Wilmington Historical Society, The Wilmington Historical Society is a 501 (c) 3 organization and contributions may be tax-deductible.
