He was predeceased by: his close friend Linda McCasland; and his brother Harold Carter. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Carter (Brenda) and Jeff Carter (Becky); and his siblings, Roland Carter (Donna), Ken Carter (Stacey) and Kathy Root. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
