He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Bechard and Myrtle Bechard (Longtin). He is survived by: his sisters, Karen Hornell (Bechard) and Gayle Bechard Woodruff (Kevin); his nephew Philip Carpenter; and his nieces, Shannon Lopez (Robert), Casey Dalcin (Clarence) and Megan Guay.
