The passing of Ismael Escanio Sr. of Plattekill, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 23, 2024 at the age of 95. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Victoria Escanio and Manuel Escanio; his children, Ismael Jr. (Betsy), Miriam (Carlos Sr.) and Evelyn (Felix Sr.); and his grandchildren, Carlos Jr. (Angela), Magaly (Marc), Felix Jr. (Kara), Christina, Victoria (Jerry), David (Joanna) and Jonathan.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Grace Community Church (128 Old South Plank Rd, Newburgh, NY 12550). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (5469 Rte 9W, Newburgh, NY 12550).
Please consider a donation to the Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation in Ismael's name as they took amazing care of him over the past years. Another wonderful organization would be the Alzheimer's Association, in hopes of a future cure.
