He was predeceased by: his siblings, Morrill Dakin, Harriette Anderson and Mary Wales. He is survived by: his wife Lois Dakin (Clark); and his children, Ralph "Ed" Dakin (Diane), Bonnie Siciliano (Peter), Wendy Pohlman (Mark), Nancy Hamp (Scott) and Holly Dakin-Parker (Reggie). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brighton Presbyterian Church in his memory.
