He was predeceased by: his wife Lois; and his son Ronald. He is survived by: his son Lawrence Taylor (Elaine); his grandchildren, Jennifer Zimmerman (Nick) and Robert Taylor (Elise); and his great grandchildren, Aliyah and Riley. He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
