He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Jean Phillips; and his sister Ann Phillips Hill. He is survived by: his father Richard Phillips Sr.; and his siblings, Richard Phillips Jr. (JoAnn) and Susan Cooper (Kenneth). He is also survived by four nephews and a niece and their children.
