He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Clar and DeVera Clar; his sister Janus Clar; and his brother-in-law Fred Rock. He is survived by: his wife Joan Clar; his sons, David Clar (Jennie Schaff) and Daniel Clar (Caroline Homan); his grandchildren, Russell Clar, Ada Clar, Asher Clar, Zachary Clar, Nathan Schaff, Charles Schaff, Eliana Schaff, Nikolas Homan and Linnea Homan; and his siblings, Lonnie Clar (Sue), Lorraine Leavitt (Robert) and Sally Rock. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
