He is survived by: his sons, Mitchell, Brady and Connor Wambach; his parents, Judy Wambach and Peter Wambach Sr.; and his siblings, Beth Ritter, Laura Wambach, Matthew Wambach, Patrick Wambach, Andrew Wambach, Abby Wambach (Glennon Doyle), Tracy Goss and Brooke Whowell (David). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
