He was predeceased by: his parents, Deda Gjon and Dila Vulaj; his former wife Maria Vulaj; and his brothers, Anthony Vulaj and Gjoka Vulaj.

He is survived by: his wife Lena Vulaj (Gjekaj); and his children, Mark Vulaj, Rose Skrelja, Aggie Vulaj, Valerie Skrelja and Alfons Vulaj. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews & dear friends.
