He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Baldwin Green and Mary Dudley Johnson Green; and his sister Mary Dean (Sue). He is survived by: his children, Newton II (Pamela), Carolyn Backus (David) and Elizabeth Eaton (James); his grandchildren, Kathryn Green, Hunter Green, Lauren Backus, Allison Backus, Jennifer Eaton (Keith Brimsfield), Sarah Eaton (Adam Stockhausen) and Laura Eaton; his wife Sally America; and also, Green II and Central America. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
